Rob Detz

Rob Detz joined Homestead Financial Mortgage in 2012 and has been in the mortgage industry since 2004. He played a pivotal role in establishing Homestead’s in-house underwriting department, building it from the ground up. He holds all industry certifications, including FHA DE, VA SAR, VA LAPP Credit Authority, and MBA CRU (Certified Residential Underwriter) Level III. With extensive experience and expertise in the mortgage industry, he mentors staff, navigates complex or unique loan scenarios, and takes an innovative approach to helping customers achieve homeownership. 

Committed to supporting not only his team but all members at Homestead, Rob is readily available to Loan Officers, even after hours and on weekends, for urgent situations. His dedication to assisting Mortgage Loan Originators in surpassing their goals and expectations is unparalleled. At Homestead, he values the advantages of having access to cutting-edge tools and software typically found in larger companies while benefiting from the personal, flexible, and responsive nature of a midsized company. 

Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, getting out on the boat whenever possible. He is also an avid college football fan and a self-proclaimed gym rat.
