Q: What made you decide to get into the mortgage business, and how did Homestead play a part in your decision? 
A: I had been in the mortgage industry for many years but stepped away in 2017. In 2020, I reached out to one of my best friends who had been at Homestead for three years. He couldn’t say enough positive things about the company and encouraged me to join. I also went to college with two of Homestead’s owners and knew they were great guys. I got in touch with one of them, and the rest is history. Five years later, my only regret is not joining 20 years ago. Homestead truly is the best company around.

Q: What do you love most about your role at Homestead?
A: As a Transaction Coordinator, I love working with such a talented and positive group of people. Every day, I’m inspired by their teamwork and dedication. Being part of such a supportive environment makes challenges easier to navigate and successes even more rewarding. It’s a privilege to be part of this team.

Q: How would you describe the culture at Homestead, and what makes it different from other places you’ve worked?
A: Homestead feels like a family. We support, trust, and look out for one another, both professionally and personally. It’s a place where strong connections, mutual respect, and genuine care make every day meaningful and motivating. We work hard and play hard. I’ve worked at several companies throughout my career, and nothing compares to the culture at Homestead.

A: Working at Homestead has made my life better by giving me the opportunity to help others achieve their goals. Seeing our customers succeed and gain confidence through my support is incredibly fulfilling. It gives my work real meaning and reminds me daily of the positive impact I can make in someone’s life.

Q: If you could give advice to someone considering joining Homestead, what would it be?
A: I would tell them they are about to join an amazing company. The people here truly care about you, and you will be welcomed into the family day one.
